As Ireland becomes increasingly dependent on electricity in our daily lives, the country’s electricity system needs to evolve to keep up. The electricity grid, the system that delivers power from generators across the country to homes and businesses, is a key part of this transition.
Marcos Byrne spoke to Radio Kerry about how the electricity grid and the wider energy system can be developed to meet Ireland’s growing energy needs.
